You can delete your Phenomens account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how brands and creators can request deletion, which data is deleted and when, and which data we must keep for a period for legal reasons. If you only want us to delete the data we received from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, see Data Deletion.
1. Delete in the dashboard
- Sign in to the Phenomens dashboard.
- Open the My account (Hesabım) page from the menu (creator · brand).
- In the Delete my account (Hesabımı sil) section, click Delete my account…, enter your password and tick the confirmation box.
Once you confirm, your account is closed immediately, all sessions are signed out and your data is deleted within the periods below.
2. Delete in the mobile app
- Open the Phenomens app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile (Profil) tab at the bottom.
- Tap Delete my account (Hesabımı sil) and confirm.
3. Request by email
If you cannot access the dashboard or the app, email [email protected] from the address registered to your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. Including your username or creator code (creators) or your company name (brands) speeds things up. After verifying your identity we complete your request within 30 days and confirm by email.
4. Only disconnecting a social account
To remove a platform connection without deleting your account:
- In Phenomens: on the Social accounts page (Sosyal hesaplar), open the account’s menu and choose Remove account (Hesabı kaldır). Your access tokens are deleted immediately and no new data is read.
- On TikTok: in the TikTok app go to Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services → Phenomens → Remove access.
- On Instagram: Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Phenomens → Remove. On the web: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access.
- On YouTube / Google: you can revoke Phenomens’ access to your Google Account data at any time on the Google security settings page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Menu names may differ slightly depending on the app version and language.
5. Before you delete
- Creators: if you have a withdrawable balance, we recommend transferring it to your IBAN first. A pending withdrawal must be completed first; unverified earnings in ongoing campaigns cannot be paid after deletion.
- Brands: if you are the brand’s only active admin, add another admin first. Live campaigns are stopped; unused balance is refunded under our Terms of Service.
- Videos you published on social media stay on your accounts; Phenomens cannot delete them. You can remove them on the platform yourself.
- Deletion cannot be undone.
6. What is deleted and when
- Immediately: your account is closed, your sessions are signed out and your TikTok / Instagram / YouTube access tokens are deleted.
- Within 7 days: YouTube data read with your Google authorization.
- Within 30 days: your name, email, phone and profile details; connected social accounts, platform data and creator code; campaign participation, submitted links and messages; application evaluation reports; IBAN and notification preferences are deleted or anonymised.
- Copies in backups are overwritten within the regular backup cycle (30 days at the latest).
7. What we keep, and for how long
Invoice, payout and accounting records that tax and commercial law require us to keep (including the view totals a payout was based on) are kept for the statutory period (generally 10 years under Turkish law) and then deleted. Transaction logs kept for security and fraud prevention may be kept for up to 2 years. Anonymous statistics that cannot be linked to a person may be kept.
