This page explains how to have Phenomens delete the data it received from TikTok, Instagram (Meta) and YouTube (Google), as well as your account data. If you connected to Phenomens with Facebook or Instagram, you can also use these steps to delete your Meta data.
1. How to request deletion
A · Disconnect the platform in your dashboard
On the Social accounts page (Sosyal hesaplar), open the account’s menu and choose Remove account (Hesabı kaldır). This starts the deletion of the data we received from that platform; your Phenomens account stays open.
B · Remove Phenomens on Instagram or Facebook
On Instagram go to Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Phenomens → Remove (on the web: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access). Meta forwards the request to us automatically; we delete your Instagram data and Meta shows you a confirmation code.
C · Delete your whole account
In the dashboard go to My account → Delete my account (Hesabım → Hesabımı sil), or in the mobile app to Profile → Delete my account (Profil → Hesabımı sil). All platform data is deleted with your account. Details: Account Deletion.
D · Ask by email
Email [email protected] from your registered address with the subject “Data deletion request”, including your username and which platform’s data (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or all) you want deleted. We process your request even if you cannot access the dashboard.
You can also revoke access in each platform’s own settings:
- On TikTok: in the TikTok app go to Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services → Phenomens → Remove access.
- On Instagram: Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Phenomens → Remove. On the web: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access.
- On YouTube / Google: you can revoke Phenomens’ access to your Google Account data at any time on the Google security settings page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Menu names may differ slightly depending on the app version and language.
2. What is deleted
- the platform’s access tokens (OAuth),
- account ID, username, profile picture, bio, follower / subscriber and content counts,
- content lists and the view, like, comment, share and save counts (and their history) of content you submitted to campaigns,
- application evaluation reports built from this data,
- if you delete your whole account, also your account, contact, profile, message and payout details (see Account Deletion).
3. When it is deleted
| Data | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Access tokens | Immediately |
| YouTube data | Within 7 days of your request or of disconnecting in Phenomens |
| TikTok and Instagram data | Within 30 days |
| Your whole account | The account is closed immediately; data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days |
| Copies in backups | Within the regular backup cycle, 30 days at the latest |
If you revoke YouTube access in your Google security settings instead of in Phenomens, we detect it in our regular authorization check and delete the data within 30 days at the latest.
4. What we keep
Payout, invoice and accounting records that tax and commercial law require us to keep (including the view totals a payout was based on) are kept for the statutory period. Anonymous statistics that cannot be linked to a person may be kept. Details: Privacy Policy.
5. Status of your request
For requests made through Meta, you can check the status with your confirmation code on the data deletion request status page. For requests made in the dashboard or by email, we email you when the deletion is complete. Send any questions, with your confirmation code, to [email protected].
